Crewger and Studio Rua are collaborating to bring you Dublin’s first 48 Hour Film Experiment. Teams will be given the unique challenge of writing, shooting and editing a short film in 48 hours. Films will be shot over the weekend of October 3rd and 4th.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday October 9th in 4 Dame Lane – 7:30 start. Each entry will be screened on the night, and awards will be handed out. MC for the evening is the lovely Rose Lawless and we are delighted to welcome Stradfest favourite Dave Morrissey to the line up, with a live DJ playing from 11 til close. Confirmed adjudicators are: Kirsten Sheridan, Lenny Abrahamson and Vanessa Gildea. The closing date for registration has already passed, but there’s a few spots left, first come first served! All teams will be meeting at 9:30 on Saturday morning (October the 3rd) in the Digital Depot on Thomas Street. If you are a filmmaker looking to turn a project around in record time, drop in. Who knows where it might lead?
