Welcome to Darklight, Ireland’s premier festival celebrating independent, DIY and artist films. Now in its eleventh year, Darklight 2010 promises to be an exciting weekend of film, animation, art, music and workshops.

We’ve asked some of our favourite festival alumni and contributors from the past ten years to invite their heroes to Darklight 2010 and program screenings, workshops and gigs for the festival. We also have exclusive film premieres, screenings of our competition winners and surprise guests, all wrapping up with a spooky Halloween party at The Grand Social (get your costumes ready!).

Our very special programmers for 2010 are: animator David O’Reilly; art/music/technology collective Synth Eastwood; independent gig promoters and record label Skinny Wolves; film & animation history lecturer and musician Michael Connerty; digital rights expert and documentary filmmaker Caroline Campbell; and producer extraordinaire Katie Holly.

We also want to welcome our international guests – some seasoned Darklight participants and some first timers. We are so pleased you have taken time out to come to Darklight 2010.

Over four days and three locations we will be sharing our heroes with you. We hope to see you there!

Darklight Season Pass
The Darklight Season Pass allows access to all screenings, workshops, gigs and the symposium for the sum of €75*.  Season Passes are available now to purchase in person or over the phone via the IFI box-office 01 6795744 . For more information, go to ifi.ie

Screenings
Tickets to individual screenings are available via the IFI Box Office. €7.75 concessions or before 4pm/ €9.20 after 6pm, contact 01 6795744 or www.ifi.ie

Symposium
Day passes for the symposium on Friday 29 October are €40 and can be purchased via the Darklight website, click here

Music Events
Tickets for Music events at Darklight are available via tickets.ie, City Discs and Sound Cellar.

Fas Screen Training Ireland Masterclass
Attendance at the Fas Screen Training Ireland Masterclass must be applied for via the Fás Screen Training Ireland website www.screentrainingireland.ie.

*Please note, Masterclass admission is not included in the Season Pass.
