BROKEN MIRROR by Tony Flynn (39:30 IRL 2004)

'Broken Mirror' is the first film ever to be publicly screened by 16-year old Tony Flynn who is currently a fifth year student at Terenure College, Dublin and has been writing screenplays and making short films with his school friends since he was 13.

Small time drug pusher Johnny Clarkin thinks that he has found the perfect deal when two friends, Luke and Brian, come to him for a stash of heroin with the promise of big money. However when Brian finds he can't pay up he steals the money from Luke putting Luke in danger of Clarkin. In a desperate struggle for help Luke goes to Ronan, the one person he can trust. Ronan agrees to give Luke enough money to try and run away from Clarkin. With Luke gone Clarkin is at the mercy of his boss, the psychopathic Kemper. Either Clarkin finds Luke and the money, or he pays the price with his own life.

'Broken Mirror' is a gritty, violent drug saga as Luke, Ronan and Clarkin discover that while the first hit's always free, the second may cost them their lives.
