Darklight in conjunction with Bord Scannán na hÉireann/ the Irish Film Board will host a discussion on support available for the development of creative feature film and short form animation projects.

The Micro Budget Initiative is aimed at; creatively driven feature length projects which are achievable on extremely low budgets, projects that display creative bravery and
originality/innovation in style and content and highly personal and creative documentary features.

The central impetus for this initiative is to support high-risk projects with low levels of funding in the form of loans. More details on the Irish Film Board site www.filmboard.ie

We will be providing an opportunity to ask questions about Micro Budget, plus other schemes and discussing the need for such schemes in the Irish film industry with other invited guests.
