Philip ilson

Philip Ilson is co-founder of the Halloween Short Film Festival, to bere-branded The London Short Film Festival for the fifth edition in January 2008. He has been at the forefront of short film programming since founding The Halloween Society short film club in London in 1994. Halloween has always seen itself as cross-arts, mixing film with live music and multi-media, and has done so at such groundbreaking events as Kentra (1998), the British Council touring club event Sensurround (2000), and the Full Length live music soundtrack night held at the ICA. As well as organizing and programming Halloween, Philip has undertaken shorts programming for The Times BFI London Film Festival and the Curzon Soho cinema, and many other festivals in the UK and internationally.
