Steve mc cormack
Stephen McCormack is a successful serial entrepreneur who has founded and managed a number of innovative Technology and Media companies.
After graduating in 1991 from DIT/TCD with a degree in Electronic Engineering, Stephen joined International Computers Limited (ICL), a large British computer firm, where he was first exposed to Internet Technologies and the early World Wide Web.
Stephen went on to co-found such companies as: Nebula Technologies, An award winning Internet software and web design firm, Itsmobile- the world's first mobile parking payments company and BITBUZZ - Ireland's largest independent WiFi hotspot company.
Stephen's current venture is Wildwave, which he co-founded in 2003 with his old partner from Nebula, Daragh Ward. Wildwave was set up produce and distribute TV, FIlm, Music and Sport content for new digital platforms such as MobileTV, WebTV, IPTV, iPods, PSP and Gaming Consoles.
Wildwave's brand's include Wildlight Channel, Havoc Television and i-amtv and works with clients such as Vodafone, Google, Sony and Joost. Recent distribution deals include FIFA World Cup. Wildwave has offices in Dublin, Vancouver and Kuala Lumpur.
Stephen contributes regularly on TV and Radio discussing New Media issues and has appeared on NBC, NPR, TodayFM, BBC, TV3, RTE and has written for publications such as Irish Independent, Sunday Tribune, Business and Finance and The Village.
