Greg maguire
An industry veteran of seventeen years, Greg has been instrumental in the launch and development of numerous heavy-hitters of animation: Walt Disney Feature Animation, Industrial Light & Magic, Electronic Arts, Colossal Pictures, Wild Brain, Sullivan Bluth and Lucasfilm Animation: and finally his own company, Zoogloo LLC in August 2006.
Greg has more recently served as R&D Supervisor, Character Supervisor and Creature Supervisor at two Lucasfilm Divisions. At Lucasfilm Animation since it's formation in 2003 as a global digital animation studio and at Industrial Light & Magic on the Academy Award nominated, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Prior to his role at Lucasfilm, Greg was Technical Animation Supervisor on Walt Disney Feature Animation's first computer animated feature, Dinosaur. At Disney, he was responsible for creating and maintaining Dinosaur's eighty diverse creatures.
An Irish native, Greg began his career in 1989 at Sullivan Bluth Studios in Dublin, integrating cg into traditional classically animated features. He has also served as Director of 3D at Colossal Pictures and Wild Brain in San Francisco. Where he supervised and animated numerous award winning projects which included work for Peter Gabriel, Coca-Cola, Liquid Television, Walt Disney Television Animation, animated pop icons Hershey's Kisses, Hershey's Twizzlers, Nabisco's Ritz, and Pillsbury's Green Giant.
In addition to his extensive animated feature, television and commercial experience he has also worked on several game titles for game giants Electronic Arts and LucasArts Entertainment.
